A Musical Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen CDs I Can Listen to All the Way Through (without skipping any tracks)

It’s rare to find a CD that you can listen through from beginning to end without running to the stereo to press “skip”. I managed to think of thirteen.

  3. In my case, I’d have to say Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Iron Maiden, and KISS. *lol*

  4. Rhian — You’re lucky. I struggled to come up with thirteen I could listen to all the way through.

Tempest — First concert I ever went to was Bon Jovi. Ah, the memories. 🙂

  5. I don’t know all of them, but I like the ones I do know. CD’s we like to listen from beginning to end are rare though…
My list is about handfasting this week.

  6. LOL. Im not a big fan of the mainstream stuff, but i do LOVE Liz Phair and the singles soundtrack… Damn that takes me back to highschool!

  7. No skipping at all?? I dont know any CDs where I dont say, ugh that ones horrible.

  8. I’m a skipper. I can’t remember the last time I listened to a CD all the way through. Probably a Lorenna McKinnett or Celtic Mysteries.

  9. I have 2, 8, and 12. When I first got #12, I didn’t care for a couple of the songs but once I listened to the whole cd a few dozen times I just fell in love with the whole thing.

  10. Great list. I love #1 and #8 (I saw them both in concert *g*). The Mary Chapin Carpenter album that I listen to all the way through is Come On Come On. Happy TT.

  11. GREAT list.
    I have #1, #5, #8, #10, #11, and #12. Happy TT.

  12. Mine is musical this week too! My Liz Phair all the way through CD is Exile in Guyville. LOVE IT.

  13. Wow. I can’t think of many discs that I DO skip tracks on.

  14. Skid Row, Skid Row

I could listen to that all day every day.

  15. Rattle & Hum, YES! I love all of U2’s albums; I’ll listen to every single track, too. Same goes with Sting.

  16. I know several of these and I’d agree. So I’ll have to check out the ones I’m not all that familiar with.
