Hotter After Midnight, by Cynthia Eden
In her sexy and suspenseful new novel, Cynthia Eden introduces readers to a seductive world where powerful night creatures ignite dark, dangerous hungers…Dr. Emily Drake’s patients tend to be a little unusual. Instead of the typical therapist’s caseload of midlife crises and mother fixations, Emily treats vampires with blood phobias and sex-demons looking for meaningful relationships. But her gift for recognizing and healing the Other-those creatures of the night that most humans don’t even know exist-requires a few house rules. First: Never trust a shifter. Especially not one like Detective Colin Gyth, whose gold-flecked eyes and predatory air make Emily realize how much she’s been longing to lose control…Colin can’t believe the doctor he’s been assigned to work with on the Night Butcher murder investigation is the one person who could expose his true identity as a wolf shifter. Smart, sexy, and stubborn as hell, Emily brings out the alpha male in Colin, unleashing a wild, heady desire that takes them both over the edge. But in the shadows, the Night Butcher waits…eager to spill Emily’s blood and taste her terror. And he’ll use any means to destroy her, including the one person she has grown to trust…

by crystal adkins September 25th, 2008 at 5:29 amMy biggest accomplishment so far that is, is raising my son to be a happy child and hopefully I can continue to raise him up to be considerate, kind, and to do something really good with his life. So my greatest accomplishment is making my son a good person 🙂
through personal problems, financial hardships, and with hard work–we, my hubby and i raised 3 great kids, they are all grown, with familys of their own, but the main things they have are–responsibility-intelligence-awesome sences of humor-super work ethics-and a kind and caring attitude towards their familys, friends, and country.
by JACKIE YOUNG September 25th, 2008 at 1:52 amI think I am in the process of obtaining my greatest accomplishment….so far to date. My husband are FINALLY climbing out of the financial black hole we dug for ourselves…and if all goes according to plan, I will graduate at the end of next summer as a Library Technician.

My greatest accomplishment? I don’t know, surviving 3 months studying in Mexico, raising a terrific little boy, finding a great man to marry, making my book review site a success. I’m not really sure what my greatest accomplishment is, but I do have many that I am proud of.

My greatest accomplishment thus far has been not losing my mind 😉
by Jen September 25th, 2008 at 6:42 amMy greatest accomplishment would have to be bringing my third beautiful children in the world and so far doing (hopefully) a good job at raising them. People always tell me what polite and well behaved children I have so I’m pretty sure I doing a good job. Raising our children with love and good morals is one of the most important things we can do. They are after all our future.
by Rebekah E. September 25th, 2008 at 6:56 amMy greatest accomplishement happened just last year. My brother called me after he had taken a bottle of pain killers and after 20 minutes I was able to talk him into telling me where he was so I could get him the paramedics and save his life.
by Mary Kirkland September 25th, 2008 at 6:57 amMy greatest accomplishment is for sure raising my two children to maturity without killing them. What mother doesn’t feel that way! But also my marriage of 29 years, through thick and thin, because without my husband I wouldn’t have made it.

by Colleen September 25th, 2008 at 7:54 amI know many women have already said this. But I truly think it’s one of the greatest things a woman can do and that’s be a mom.
by Lyda September 25th, 2008 at 8:30 amI agree with Lyda–my greatest accomplishment so far is being a mom, although that’s hardly complete! It’s the years ahead that have me quaking in my boots!

Raising my children; even with all the mistakes and doubts and bumps in the road, they are good people in their own right.
by azteclady September 25th, 2008 at 10:03 amUm… not dropping out of law school daily? Haha. Today has been a rough day and I don’t even have work of classes on Thursday. That’s alright. Outside of school and work and the editorship everything else is gravy and roses! (Though not together- that’s disgusting) 😀 [Yeah, sleep deprived.]
by limecello September 25th, 2008 at 10:04 amprob. moving to london by myself (after having never been there before), starting my first job there and being independent for the first time 🙂
by becky September 25th, 2008 at 10:57 amDo not enter me…as I won yesterdays prize!
I would say my greatest accomplishment in my children, and surviving a life that has not been easy in any way. Being able to do what was needed when I needed to. Because of an ex-husband I was forced to give my boys up for adoption and let my daughter move back in with her father. I am happy to at least be able to see and talk to my daughter on a regular basis. My boys I miss every day. I thank God every day that they are happy and healthy and that I had them for the length of time that I did.
by Dianna Fryer September 25th, 2008 at 11:23 amhaving three goregous boys
by Raonaid September 25th, 2008 at 11:53 amRaising my four children to be productive adults.
by Estella September 25th, 2008 at 12:30 pmSo far my greatest achievement is graduating college while I was eight months pregnant after taking a break from college that lasted years.
by Christiana September 25th, 2008 at 1:08 pmI have to agree about it’s raising my kids. Two wonderful daughters. One graduated college and just got married this summer. My other daughter is currently in college. (something I never got to do). They’re both such caring people – I couldn’t be happier!
by catslady September 25th, 2008 at 1:11 pmIt would have to be just being a mom!
by Lynn S September 25th, 2008 at 1:34 pmI would say the fact that I’m still alive and in fairly good health after becoming a quadraplegic at the age of four. My parents were told I’d only live six months, but it’s now over thirty years later and I’m still here.
by Jody F. September 25th, 2008 at 2:23 pmI’m still fairly young – I’ve graduated high school, graduated college, I held the same job for going on fifteen years and I’ve never been to jail. But my greatest accomplishment I believe is still to happen. If that makes sense.
by Greta September 25th, 2008 at 3:02 pmRaising my 2 girls alone after my divorce many yrs ago.
by Dina September 25th, 2008 at 3:46 pmCommitting to gastric bypass surgery and going through with it last month. I lost 50 lbs on my own and another 40 lbs since the surgery last month and I just started my excercise program at the gymn. 😀
by Michelle B. September 25th, 2008 at 3:50 pmSurviving the obstacles life has thrown in the lives of my family and in my life to be where I am today, with a mostly happy outlook (there are days sometimes!) but overall, I am happy and enjoying life 🙂
by Preye September 25th, 2008 at 5:27 pmI’m sure there’s probably a better answer out there, but honestly? Holding my marriage together. My husband and I were separated for 9 months and he came home and we’re working on things.
by Virginia Hendricks September 25th, 2008 at 5:45 pmI would say so far my greatest accomplishment was getting the job I currently had, it was the first time I had had to interview seriously with people that didn’t already know who I was, because my Dad had been there too. No kiddos yet, or I would definitely have listed them! I might be in the middle of my next greatest accomplishment which is staying at my current job during a system transition and then a job change!! It’s getting rough, but I’m hanging in there!
by shaunesay September 25th, 2008 at 5:54 pmI would have say helping take care of Dad when got sick. I would take him to the Doctor or visit him in the hospital. We l ost him after Charley in 2004. We promised him he could die at home and did that. It was hard some times but I reget a minute of it. I w oul have to hated him to die in a strange place. He had family and friends around him til the end. I am very proud I could do it
by Patricia September 25th, 2008 at 6:00 pmMy greatest accomplishment is definitely my family! I cannot even begin to express how important each of them are to me and I hope that I have given them all the skills they need to be successful and happy throughout their lives.
by Lori T September 25th, 2008 at 9:08 pmBeing smart enough to say “yes” when my husband asked me to marry him 28 years ago.
