*****THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED*****
I pay strangers to sleep with me. I have my reasons…
But they’re not the ones you expect. For starters, I’m a funeral director taking over my dad’s business. Not exactly the sort of person you’d expect to fork over cash for the lust and urgency only live, skin-to-skin contact can create. Looking at me, you wouldn’t have a clue I carry this little secret so close it creases up like the folds of a fan. Tight. Personal. Ready to unravel in the heat of the moment.
Unsurprisingly, my line of work brings me face to face with loss. So I decided long ago that paying for sex would be one of the best (and arousing) ways to save myself from the one thing that would eventually cut far too deep.
But Sam was a mistake. Literally. I signed on to “pick up” a stranger at a bar, but took Sam home instead. And now that I’ve felt his heat, his sweat and everything else can I really go back to impersonal?
Let’s just hope he never finds out about my other life…
Where you can find Megan:
Blog
Author Bio: I was born and I lived awhile and did some stuff, and then some other things happened. Finally, I finished with that and started something else, and in 2007 my first book with Spice came out. It was called Dirty. Now I do things and write about stuff and spend some time attempting to achieve accomplishments, but mostly I like to hang around and spend my time doing whatnot and things.
Interview Questions:
1.) How did you get started in writing and how long have you been doing it? I’ve been writing ever since I could and decided to make a full-time go of it, officially, in 1998 when I became a stay-home mom.
2.) What genres/subgenres are your favorites to write within and do you have any aspirations to write outside your current genres/subgenres. Try something new? I really love fantasy and science fiction and would really love to write a horrifyingly terrifying horror novel someday. I’ve written fantasy and SF and would love to keep doing that. I got started with historical romance because I loved it so much, but I prefer to write contemporary, and I suppose I prefer to keep the bedroom door open rather than closed.
3.) What are you working on now and what releases do you have coming up? Right now I’m working on edits, edits, edits, but next on my plate is my third Order of Solace novel which will come out from Berkley Sensation sometime in 2010. I’ll have two Order of Solace novels, which are historical fantasy, sensual romance, out in the fall of 2009. I’ll also have my next release from Spice, DEEPER, which is a contemporary erotic paranormal novel (phew, what a mouthful) and that comes out in July.
Readers, here is the contest part. Answer this question in the comments to be entered in a drawing for a copy of STRANGER. Check back to tomorrow for the announcement of the winner. The winner will have until May 5th (that’s the last day of the contest) to contact me in order to collect the prize.
Tell us about one of your obsessions:
Megan says: Just one? Bah! Well, I’d have to say that right now Supernatural is my obsession. I love that show with the passionate fire of ten thousand fiery suns. It just keeps getting better and better and better. I love it so much I want to bake it pie and do its laundry.
Okay, blog readers, now you tell us about one of YOUR obsessions.
…chocolate, oh chocolate. I shouldn’t eat so much sugar but it’s too yummy to stay away from. It is sure my sweet obsession

by Beverly April 9th, 2009 at 5:18 amObsessions…so hard to pick just one, but here we go:
Lists. Particularly my book lists. Listed in alphabetical order by author, then chronologised. Several times a month I hit up author websites, publisher websites and three different Amazon websites to compulsively check for new cover art or release dates…and that includes your books, too 😉
by Tez Miller April 9th, 2009 at 5:38 amI would say my obsession is reading, I am an avid reader but chocolate doesn’t hurt either. I guess my other one would be craft projects. 😀

by May B. April 9th, 2009 at 6:31 amMy obsession… well… something I can’t live without… It would have to be a book in one hand and these amazing frosted sugar cookies from Lofthouse in the other… with a tall glass of milk!! That is my weakness! I tell myself that if I was good (eating properly) during the day and done my housework (yuck) and all that… that I get to read and have a cookie!!! My family thinks I’ve lost my mind… but oh well… they don’t understand what a great book does for you (at least not hubby) and cookies and glass of milk
Please do not enter me the contest for the book, I already have it and have read it… I also did a review of it, if you would like to check it out!! It is an awesome book.. Good luck to getting your hands on it, if you do not win it here…. please go out and get it!!!

Tee totally hot cover! Whew!
Your bio so cracked me up…thanks for the laugh. I needed it this morning. LOL
An obsession? Hmmm…right now it would be all things mystical. Having been a huge fan of the paranormal genre for so long…I’m finally trying my hand at writing paranormal romance.
I’ve been doing some research into the mystics and how totally intriguing and addictive it is. Of course, there’s also the hot vampires, and sexy shapeshifters, and spicy aliens and….grrr…
But I digress….
by Kerri Nelson April 9th, 2009 at 6:50 amHidey ho, everyone! Thanks to Anya for having me here today.
