One woman who’s sworn never to love again.
Two men who can’t help but desire her.
And the magic and passion that binds them together…
“Sexy and dark, Jaded is the intriguing follow-up to Jeweled. Bast has created a trio of tortured survivors who find love and healing in this historical gem.” —RT BOOKreviews, four stars
Haunted by a traumatic attack when she was eighteen, Lilya Orensdaughter has become a courtesan in the Temple of Dreams, determined to never again lose control. But she will do anything for Byron Andropov, the man who nursed her back to health all those years ago—and who now wants her to help his friend Alek Chaikoveii come to terms with the powerful magick he possesses.
In Alek, Lilya finds a kindred spirit. The attraction between them is immediate, and soon Lilya surrenders to nights of unimaginable ecstasy. But she can’t forget Byron, who’s concealed his feelings for Lilya because he believed she would never love again. As tensions escalate between the two men who are vying for Lilya’s heart, Lilya finds herself torn between her desire for the man who saved her, and the man whose soul resembles her own—only to discover that in the world of unrestrained passion there are no boundaries. If only you’re willing to give up control…

I’m a nerd so I’d loot bookstore and probably the Apple store. The only thing though is all my fav authors books are still on pre-order status. 🙁 lol so the Apple store is my backup. Hehehe

thewife@unclewaltersrants.com
by The Wife May 21st, 2011 at 3:26 pmBookstores of course, NOOK, so I can get all the great books now and in the future. I have to have something to do while waiting for the End!
by Karen Harbur May 21st, 2011 at 3:29 pmI have teenagers and a dog. I’m hitting the grocery store, the apple store, Petsmart and American Eagle. As long as their happy everything will be fine.
by debra pugh May 21st, 2011 at 3:31 pmThe mall! But it has to have a Best Buy attached so its one stop looting!

First I would hit the shoe section of Saks and Barney’s. Next the nearest book store followed by a side trip to Godiva. Yep that pretty much covers all my addictions.
by StacieDM May 21st, 2011 at 3:47 pmI would loot the Mall here. Hit the apple store, then Clothes and then Electronics and the bookstore. Then Liquor barn
by Robin Blankenship May 21st, 2011 at 3:47 pmI hope I don’t live around any of you guys because I too would seriously be hitting the bookstores. With a short side trip to the tea store on the way home
by Donna A May 21st, 2011 at 3:54 pmno looting for me. i will be preparing to become a butt kicking demon slayer… that will be my personal title in God’s army!!
by Christy M May 21st, 2011 at 3:58 pmI could use some new clothes, but I would imagine the mall would be packed with kids. Of course, there is a book store there too. 😀
by Janel May 21st, 2011 at 4:36 pmI loot electronics stores and bookstores. I’d get a huge tv, books, and movies. Oh, and expensive chocolate.
by Marlene Breakfield May 21st, 2011 at 4:37 pmmarlenebreakfield(at)yahoo(dot)com
Awesome question! Maybe Walmart were almost out of t.p. LOL! Thanks for sharing
by Johanna Jochum May 21st, 2011 at 4:40 pmPerhaps answering the question would be a good idea… I would loot myself a new car. Since someone so inconveniently decided to use the passenger side of mine as a parking space. I’m thinking a mini-cooper convertible. Quick and zippy to get around all the pursuing zombies.
by The Wife May 21st, 2011 at 5:22 pmA friend of mine was being smart and saying she was safe but the rest of us were screwed, so I told her since she was leaving, I’d be moving into her house. Didn’t want it to feel abandoned, ya know? Also told her to make sure all of her electronics are in good working order for me 😆
by Betty Lewis May 21st, 2011 at 5:27 pmOhhh I would have to go with the Apple Store first then a book store to stock up and last a grocery store. Hey gotta have priorities..lol
by Jamie B May 21st, 2011 at 5:43 pmHad to think about this but I would like to loot one of the local Macy’s that has both an Origins counter and a Lush Counter….lol..and then if there was still time I would hit up the local Barnes and Noble….
by Maria D. May 21st, 2011 at 5:57 pmI’d start with my favorite jewely store. Then I’d hit my favorite shoe store. Bookstores are a given but jewelry comes first.
by Robin W May 21st, 2011 at 5:57 pmI’d be looting Best Buy for an iPad, video games, and BluRays.
Am a tech geek. 🙂
by Barbara May 21st, 2011 at 6:19 pmi collect gemstones so i will be at all of the jewelery stores getting the rare and hard to finds.
by tammy ramey May 21st, 2011 at 6:34 pmBookstores would be first on the list, but I think next I’d loot myself a 747. Why not, right? Sure, there’s that sticky little “not knowing how to fly,” part, but I believe in shooting for the skies (no pun intended). Besides, then I’d be able to fly all over and loot however many bookstores I wish!
(…What about a country? Can we grab countries? Because if so, I have dibs on Canada. 😉
by Galadriel May 21st, 2011 at 6:35 pmWhat to loot first? As I’m still here, the list will be quite extensive. First, I’d start with a bank, followed by a Costco or Walmart for any and all the essentials. Then I’d find myself a bookstore to stock up on some ‘light’ reading material to last me through to the end. Of course, I love the idea of looting jewelry stores and shoe stores so I might hit those up along the way to taking over my very own mansion somewhere in the center of the US, far away from the big cities that will be targeted first.
by Ashley L May 21st, 2011 at 6:59 pmlol the gun shop probably cause from what I read it’s about to get dicey around here lol. Then the food store and last but not least the book store.
by Pamk May 21st, 2011 at 7:58 pmBook store and various electronic stores for ipads and ereaders lol Course one must hope there’ll be internet after the rapture for any of that to be of any use.
Lisa B
by Lisa B May 21st, 2011 at 8:13 pmI’d hit the book stores, then go out and hotwire some really nice car (maybe a lamborghini) and just speed around because now I can speed without worrying about the cops! 😈
by Casey H May 21st, 2011 at 8:18 pmNot feeling Raptured but I’m too lazy right now to loot anything. Maybe I’ll just kick back and watch the mayhem on TV 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!
by Jen B. May 21st, 2011 at 8:28 pmJen B.
@Casey H — what makes you think that the cops wouldn’t be here on earth with us? 😛
by The Wife May 21st, 2011 at 8:36 pmI’d find out which places were without security cameras/guards/etc. Then I’d get me some junk food! 😀
by Tez Miller May 21st, 2011 at 8:59 pmI’m for looting the electronics and apple store, haha. Afterwards, it’ll be the candy shops for something yummy and delicious to enjoy my new electronics
by Biki May 21st, 2011 at 9:19 pmMe Loot!?! I would love to invade a bookstore… and maybe an ice cream store too! 😉
by Colleen May 21st, 2011 at 9:38 pmA bookstore AND a library 😉
by kate May 21st, 2011 at 11:41 pmI’m being greedy because the bookstores don’t keep much of a backlist
Best Buy & B&N are within a block of each other so I would hit up those two after I’d stopped by some of the car dealerships on the way. Finishing it all up with a stop at Target as it’s right by the first two.
by Nicole May 22nd, 2011 at 1:01 amStarbucks @ Barnes and Nobel 🙂
by Gayle Jackson May 22nd, 2011 at 4:53 amThank you
My husband and I were discussing the need for us to get a house 🙂 That is totally what we would loot!
by Natasha A. May 22nd, 2011 at 5:57 amWow, to loot…definitely a bank. Then maybe Cartier. I am aiming high:)
by Andrea May 22nd, 2011 at 7:02 amI plan to loot all of your books 🙂
by Cynthia Garcia May 22nd, 2011 at 7:18 amHubby I have the question a lot I would arm myself stock up on reserves – food, money, clothes, books, and tech. Maybe a new car or two as well 🙂
by Dawn May 22nd, 2011 at 7:58 amlets see a new car and book store and raid Lane Bryant, it would save my pockets.
by Tabitha Parrish May 22nd, 2011 at 8:42 amWell, a bookstore would be my first choice to loot, but I would have to say first I would loot Gamestop for more shooting games, then loot a weapon’s hold or something similar. First, gotta get practice, then go get the weapons. You have to be ready for when the zombies attack. 😉
by Kel May 22nd, 2011 at 8:50 amWell, definitely a bookstore first, a new truck for my hubby, then a huge home improvement store, like Home Depot, so we can finally finish remodeling our kitchen!
by Cathy MacDonald May 22nd, 2011 at 12:23 pmGo loot the bookstores!!
by Kristina Ebert May 22nd, 2011 at 10:04 pmWell Duh…The Bookstores, of course. Then I would have to hit the grocery stores to make sure we had enough food and water…etc ( gotta be wise about it). 😉
by Kimberley Coover May 23rd, 2011 at 8:16 amBlue bottle coffee…some chocolate. Nothing fancy.
by Ayelet May 23rd, 2011 at 8:47 am
