Goddess with a Blade — Lauren Dane

Not only did JADED release this week, so did Lauren’s Dane’s GODDESS WITH A BLADE. I’ve read this one, guys, and it’s GOOD. Don’t miss it. Read on for an opportunity to win it.

Rowan Summerwaite is no ordinary woman. Physical vessel to the Celtic Goddess Brigid and raised by the leader of the Vampire Nation, she’s a supercharged hunter with the power to slay any vampire who violates the age-old treaty.

A recent string of murders has her at odds with Las Vegas’s new Scion, the arrogant and powerful Clive Stewart. The killings have the mark of Vampire all over them, and Rowan warns Clive to keep his people in line—or she’ll mete out her own brand of justice.

Though her dealings with Clive are adversarial to say the least, Rowan is intensely aware of her attraction to him. But she can’t let it distract her from her duty—to find and battle the killer before more women die.

  1. I can’t wait to read this book. I have been waiting to read it for awhile now and I keep hearing such great things about it.

  2. First started reading Lauren’s Elloras Cave books, now I’ll read anything she writes; she sure does weave a good tale. 😉

  3. Something interesting? Going to x-men tonight and leaving at 6 am tomorrow to go to the Omaha Henry Dorley Zoo with my family! Great Contest!

  4. I’ve got to say, I’m a big fan of Urban Fantasy, but a lot of story concepts fall flat when I hear them. That’s why I am so interested to read Goddess With A Blade. The entire concept sounds interesting. I can’t wait to read it.

  5. I’d love to win! I heart Lauren Dane’s writing.
Interesting eh? I recently made a list for book pirates on other ways to get books for free. Oh yeah, I actually got a quote from Lauren to use in my article.

I walked away from the Lori Foster’s Reader/Writer convention with 31 paperbacks and I spent $1. That’s pretty interesting eh?

  11. I would love to win this book. Something interesting, my friend Krissy who commented either right above me or a few above me. We share books and we are addicts. She reads so much faster than me. Right now I’m torturing her because I’m reading Vampires in Atlantis by Alyssa Day. She actually won a copy from Alyssa but since she is in Japan with her Navy guy, Krissy hasn’t gotten her copy. 🙂 So she has wait to read it until next week. 😈

  12. Sounds like a great book! Today it is so cold and rainy I made a tagine for my lunch. Red peppers, sweet potatoes and chickpeas with cinnamon and chile flakes. Yum! (And healthy too!)

  20. I am into green juicing (kale, lettuce, collard greens). I am so hardcore that I pack the Vitamix when we fly to Maui every year so that I don’t have to be apart from it for two weeks.

  21. 🙂 oh oh oh pick me! Interesting study: the Aztec calendar original calculations might be off by 40+ years- so no need for the 2012 panic- ahhh Hollywood is disappointed 😀

  22. I have spent the past 2 hours prowling all my favorite authors websites, trying to keep busy and hoping the time will pass quickly . Waiting for the hockey game to start. I would love to win a copy of this book…love everything Lauren has ever published 🙄

  23. In one week my husband and I will be on vacation and all we’re doing is packing a bag, getting in the car and driving west, no idea where we’ll stop for now.

  24. Something interesting… hmmm… It’s so hot here in the South that I’m pretty sure I coulda fried my eggs on the hood of the car. Which would have been something to think of, at the time, considering I don’t have a stove….

  25. Darn, I really love to say “enter me in the contest”! Ok, something interesitng. Well, I check both your blog and Lauren Dane’s blogs everyday because I love your books. 34. I just finished Shiloh Walker’s newest book and it rocked. Hubby and I are trying to decided where where we’re going on vacation. Anyone got any ideas. My son loves the beach and I like to go places where i’ve not been before and there is more to do than the “beach”
