Today’s book……
When you’re a half incubus, your reputation precedes you…
All eyes are on Gabriel Mac Braire the day he makes his first appearance in the Seelie Court, including those of Aislinn Finvarra. Despite deep bitterness over her last failed relationship, Aislinn cannot help but be curious about the half incubus who is known to possess dark magick, both lethal and sexual in nature. Rumors abound of the women who have become enslaved to his irresistible charms.
So when the Summer Queen of the fae orders Aislinn herself to act as his guide in the court, she is understandably on guard. She’s fallen under the spell of far less persuasive men before. In addition, Gabriel might be more than he seems and his true mission is far from innocent.
This time, Aislinn must protect not only her heart, but her very life…

The hero of this book is an incubus, a supernatural creature that you see once in a while in fiction but not very often. What kinds of supernatural creatures do you prefer in paranormal romance? Why do you like them?

by miki January 23rd, 2012 at 3:48 amI love any that start off with a dark spirit, because in the end they usually find true love and become good. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the contest 😀
by Ruth cardoza January 23rd, 2012 at 5:39 amI love shifters. Not sure why but its possible that its because there are so many good shifter stories out there.
by Donna January 23rd, 2012 at 6:15 amI love vampires. I love the darkness & mystery that you get with a vamp. Not a sparkly vamp a True Blood type vamp.—Rachel
by Rachel January 23rd, 2012 at 7:54 amI like shapeshifters and werewolves the most.
by CrystalGB January 23rd, 2012 at 7:57 amYou never know what is lurking behind the surface. 🙂
I love shifters normally hybrids, but I do like the rest too, dragons and wolves being my favorite! Thanks for posting 🙂

Oh that is a tough one I could never choose between Vampires and Shifters, love them both.
by Kristina Ebert January 23rd, 2012 at 9:06 amI love me some shifters. preferably wolf, but I have read about panthers and really liked them too.
by Heather January 23rd, 2012 at 9:08 amI love the Fae with their arrogant ways. But I love the shifters for their inner animal instincts and growling is just flat out sexy!
by SharonS January 23rd, 2012 at 9:12 amThis is a hard one. I like vampires and I also like sexy demons.
by Jon-Anne F. January 23rd, 2012 at 9:25 amI like all the normal paranormal creatures, but I do enjoy when a few of the rarer species appear; i.e., pixies, gargoyles, dragons,& fae. Variety is the spice of life, right? 😀
by Gail S January 23rd, 2012 at 10:30 amShifters are my fav paranormals, but I am always looking for more interesting and mystical creatures to read about and enjoy!
by Colleen January 23rd, 2012 at 11:07 amShifters and werewolves are some of my favorites to read about. But always enjoy finding a new supernatural to read about.
by JeanP January 23rd, 2012 at 11:48 amAMAZING NOVEL! My favorite genre. Sci-Fi/Romance!
by Kayla P January 23rd, 2012 at 12:10 pmI really liked that Gabriel was Head of the Wild Hunt. I like that character. C.E. Murphy uses The Wild Hunt too in the Walker series. I do love Irish Gods
by cait045 January 23rd, 2012 at 12:28 pmValkyries, Elves (always did have a weakness for elves especially drows), Tuatha De Danann, were ragons
by Raonaid Luckwell January 23rd, 2012 at 12:33 pmI must say I love the shapeshifters. It’s quite possibly an addiction. Anything that is unusual, different, draws my attention too, but the shapeshifters…. 😆
by Ley January 23rd, 2012 at 12:50 pmI love shapeshifters. I think the appeal is that they have the best qualities of their “animal’.
I’m also partial to vamps, there is something a bit terrifying but sexy about an apex preditor.
by Julie Perham January 23rd, 2012 at 1:30 pmI love pretty much anything paranormal. I just love the fantasy universe because it takes you away from this world. I do have a soft spot for shifter though. 🙂

I don’t have a favorite but I enjoy reading about dragons, angels, demons, gargoyles, and faeries.
by Tracey D January 23rd, 2012 at 1:49 pmi like vampires where they think that they are is big bad creature but it turns out that they are human just like everyone else and they find that one love that shows them the way
by melissa cahall January 23rd, 2012 at 2:27 pmI love supernatural characters, from Fae to Vampire, from Ghost to Succubus and Incubus, I love stories of The Court, with Mab and I have such a love for the characters Tolkien developed-hobbits, elves, dwarves and the like. I also love stories of gods and goddesses and angels and witches. I must say this has always been my favorite to read.
by carla c January 23rd, 2012 at 2:49 pmI really enjoy the shapeshifters groups in paranormal romance because there are so many animal possibilities to choose from. With vampires and most other groups your pretty much stuck to their limitations, but with shifters you choose the animal or animals and what they can do.
by Yadira A. January 23rd, 2012 at 2:55 pmMy favorites are werewolves, shapeshifters, and anything supernatural with unusual dark spirits and evil really draws my attention and lures me into a paranormal and mysterious story. I haven’t read any with an incubus and Wicked Enchantment sounds very good!
by Rich C January 23rd, 2012 at 2:56 pmI LOVE werewolves for their strength and loyalty to family. I LOVE vamps for their exotic nature and historical knowledge and their feelings of loneliness I’d love to make better.

by Joder January 23rd, 2012 at 3:03 pmI love the valkyries in Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark Series.
I would love to see a selkie in a paranormal romance novel.
by Kylie M January 23rd, 2012 at 4:16 pmI like shifters (especially wild cats and gargoyles & dragons) and vamps (depending on the world they inhabit). I’ve come to adore Lora Leigh’s Breeds and Lynsay Sands’ vamps in her Argeneau Series.
by Glittergirl January 23rd, 2012 at 5:00 pmI love all supernatural creatures, and not too picky. Maybe I just not like zombie and ghost, lol! My favorite is shifter. I like them more than vampires. Must be because their animal characteristic 😉
by Ren Puspita January 23rd, 2012 at 6:44 pmI like all sorts of different paranormal creatures. The one that I just haven’t found a book to love is Angels. I have tried quite a few Angel books and they just don’t work for me. I really enjoy Gods and Goddesses. They are real rule breakers.
by Jen B. January 23rd, 2012 at 6:44 pmI love shifter myself but am willing to read anything. I also like witches and fae. I guess I am easy to please.
by Debra G January 23rd, 2012 at 6:58 pmI like to read about all different kinds of paranormal creatures, like demons, werewolves, and vampires.
by bn100 January 23rd, 2012 at 9:32 pmSo far I’ve yet to read about a paranormal creature that I didn’t end up liking. I think my favorite things to read about though are shifters especially cat and wolf shifters!
I appreciate both of these kinds of shifters mostly for their strong and protective natures, faes and vamps are great too even though I don’t read about them very often!

by Gabrielle J. January 23rd, 2012 at 10:32 pmI have an equal preference for paranormal story-lines with Vamps and Shifters (were-animals e.g. wild big cats, wolves, bears, dragons, etc.).
by Preye January 23rd, 2012 at 11:18 pmOops, didn’t mean to submit that yet. I prefer those story-lines (Vamps and Shifters) because most are written by my favorite authors and I like the writing styles.
by Preye January 23rd, 2012 at 11:20 pmI really like werewolves and vampires. Your book sounds great!
