Today’s book….
Sarafina Connell is having the worst week of her life. It takes an even darker turn when an infamous playboy kidnaps her and reveals a world she never knew existed….
It’s a world where magick is real, and where Sarafina is given a chance to join a secret cabal that is bent on gaining absolute power. They could use a woman like her—a witch with an untapped gift for creating fire. But she isn’t about to get in league with the devil.
Rescued from her captors, Sarafina is introduced to a coven that is duty-bound to fight the forces of darkness. She’s pleased that her savior is the imposingly seductive Theo—until the trust between them goes up in flames. However, as the war between good and evil is waged, Sarafina and Theo realize they have no choice but to unite in the battle for supremacy—that’s getting hotter by the minute.

by Lindsey E February 4th, 2012 at 2:33 amNo recent movies, tv shows, or books have made me cry or tear up. But in the past good episodes of Grey’s Anatomy could make me emotional. Lately, the shows/movies/books I’ve been entertaining myself with have made me laugh, get mad or happy at a satisfactory ending.
by Preye February 4th, 2012 at 3:18 amDr. Phil’s 2/2/12 show. Identical twin brothers who where once so close now hate each other, doing phyical damage to each other and their home and it’s tearing the family apart.

by Christy V February 4th, 2012 at 8:14 amI’m going to go with a book, which was Rachel Caine’s Working Stiff. I wasn’t bawling, but I did tear up.
I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t read it. But I think it’s everything that happens to the main character Bryn. Being trapped the way that she is just awful.
by Rae M. February 4th, 2012 at 8:14 amThis isn’t actually a published book, but Jesse Hajicek’s Kastor Chronicles. I love this story and it’s sequel, but I can’t help crying when… Well, you’ll have to read to see.
Sometimes it’s so cathartic to have a good cry about someone else’s problems, you know?

by JoAnna B February 4th, 2012 at 1:42 pmWhen I watched the movie, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, I really cried. It was a sad story of a lonesome boy’s life and had such a tragic ending and what he endured and kept secret, for a little childhood friendship. It was a good movie, but anyone who wants to watch it…..get the box of tissues ready!
by Xandi February 4th, 2012 at 3:03 pmHi Anya the last book I read that made me serioulsly tear up was the last sacrifice part if the vampire academy the series by richelle mead . So sad when the heroine has to be put in jail for something that’s nor her doing . She was accused as a killer because she just a low class person. So sad to imagine why low class person always become a victim .
by Aretha zhen February 4th, 2012 at 4:19 pmApparently, C.R.S. (can’t remember sh*t) has kicked in and I can not remember what movie (made for tv) I watched that made me cry. I also tend to cry when I’m reading books. I get all weepy. Glad it’s when I’m alone late at night reading. 😉
by Gail S February 4th, 2012 at 4:40 pm‘Moulin Rouge.’ The damn movie gets me every time. I’m a sucker for love stories and France.
If we’re talking about books, it would be ‘Mockingjay’ from the ‘Hunger Games’ series.
Team Gale.

by bn100 February 4th, 2012 at 9:05 pmHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, all because of Dobby. I don’t tend to cry that much because I’m often laughing at how much my girlfriend is crying. When we say 50/50 in theaters, she was bawling pretty loud.
by Sara M February 4th, 2012 at 10:25 pmI have to admit I cry a lot when reading books and since I have a habit of reading 2 to 3 books a week it is hard to say the exact last book I read and cried. I know there was a couple books by Christine Feehan in her Drake Sisters series that made me cry, some got kinda sad before the ended happy 😉
by Nicole G. February 4th, 2012 at 10:39 pmHmmm, the last tv. show, book, or movie that made me cry? I don’t think that so far there are very many movies, tv. shows, or books that make me cry.
Well during the Christmas season they show all kinds of Christmas shows, specials, and movies.
One of my favorite Christmas movies that comes on about this time is a movie called The Year Without a Santa Clause, there’s this one part where a young boy that Santa Clause has befriended says that he thinks believing in Santa Clause is for little kids.
Keep in mind that Santa has taken an unscheduled holiday and believes that people in the world have stopped believing and caring about him.
Anyway the boy asks his dad if he believes in Santa Clause to which the father replies with a definite yes, they start singing this really neat song that just reaches out to my inner child and cry during that part at least once each time I see the movie.
by Gabrielle J. February 4th, 2012 at 10:45 pmI have to say this past week’s Vampire Diaries episode did it for me.
