Book-of-the-Day: Making Chase

******THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED******

Every day from today until January 4th, 2010, I’ll be giving away one of Lauren Dane’s fabulous novels. In turn, she will be giving one of mine away. Head on over to her blog to see which one.

By random drawing, the winner of yesterday’s book-of-the-day contest for CASCADIA WOLVES: STANDOFF is Cybercliper, who said, “I don’t really do resolutions. In the past, I’ve usually abandoned then all by the first week.”

Congratulations! You have a week from today to contact me and collect your prize. anyabast (at) gmail.com

Chase Brothers: MAKING CHASE: Tate Murphy is a girl from the wrong side of the tracks. She grew up a million miles away from the easy life Matt Chase has had. She’s spent her life pulling herself and her siblings up and out of that trailer by the railroad tracks and she hasn’t looked back. Matt Chase is a dream of a guy and she’s certainly not going to turn down a short fling with one of the most handsome men she’s ever seen!

Matt Chase has watched each one of his brothers find love and he knows he’s ready for that too. It’s all a matter of finding the woman who captures his heart. He’s certainly sampled his fair share of them but none has moved him the way Tate Murphy does when he goes to her shop to thank her for some cookies and a thank you note.

But as Matt gets to know Tate and appreciate her strength and unique beauty, he also realizes she’s got some big self esteem issues about her past. To build a future, he’s got to find a way past some big road blocks.

Want a shot at winning this book? Answer the following question in the comments:

If you had the ability to take a dream vacation to one single country in the world, which country would you choose?

  1. Russia.

  2. I would have to go to German. There is so much family heritage there and beautiful landscapes as well!

  3. U.S.A. It is such a big country with such diverse topography and people – it is like a small world in itself!

  4. Australia, I would love to visit there.

  5. Scotland. I still need to find that hunky Highlander who’s dreaming of me! 😀

  6. I would love to go to Australia.

  7. Ireland or Australia. My heritage is from Ireland, besides I think the some of the landscape there would be beautiful to see in person. Australia, I have always wanted to see the outbacks and the wildlife there in person.

  8. Hands down it would be Scotland!

  9. USA because I wasn’t there before and I can’t wait to visit all the pretty different landscapes and meet the people their.

  10. I’ve thought of going to Ireland and living in a cottage near the cliffs, and working in a local establishment for a year or so. That would be a vacation to me of a lifetime. To get to know the locals and enjoy the real Ireland.

  11. Scotland!!!

  12. Just one? Ugh! If I had to narrow it down I would pick France. I would love to see Paris – have strong coffee and croissants at an outdoor cafe; have cheese, a loaf of bread, and a good bottle of wine on a picnic; see all of the monuments; and just drink in all of the culture. :::insert heavy sigh here:::

  19. My ideal vacation would involve a lot of sun, sand, surf AND uninterrupted reading time with an unlimited library of my favorite reads. So and ebook reader as full as I can get would acompany me to one of those small south Pacific Islands where I could laze the days away at the beach reading or swimming as I wished.
