The Chosen Sin is a Recommended Read

The Chosen Sin is a recommended read over at CK2S Kwips and Kritiques.

Anne says in part, “THE CHOSEN SIN is a fantastic blend of the futuristic, erotic, and the vampire. Anya Bast demonstrates a unique flair at creating such an unusual and yet oh so captivating world populated with multidimensional characters. THE CHOSEN SIN is absolutely a must read!” You can read the whole review here.

Also, Harriet Klausner recently reviewed Witch Heart, third in the Elemental Witches series and due out on January 6th.

“The story line is fast-paced from the onset with deadly Tevan relentlessly tracking down the heroine while Adam and his coven do everything they can to protect her. Fans will enjoy the third bewitching blast as the witch and the handmaiden fall in love, even as the enemy keeps on coming to steal the elium without regard to Claire’s well being.”

So, are you all ready for Thanksgiving (‘Merican peeps, anyway)? I’m cooking dinner for a small crowd, about seven people, some of whom are vegetarians (which always makes it interesting). Martha Stewart is on in the background and making me want to cook artichokes. We don’t normally do a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, so I have some leeway. I might do cornish hens instead of turkey.

What are you making for dinner on Thursday? Something traditional or not so much?

  1. My mom and I always prepare a very traditional holiday meal. Turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, biscuits, candied yams, cranberry sauce and tossed salad for sure. Other dishes sometimes get thrown in by request.

  2. What a great review!!! πŸ˜€
As for Thanksgiving dinner, my mother does all the traditional cooking… she even adds in a few of my father’s favs(which no one else eats). HAPPY THANKSGIVING ALL!

  3. Great review!

I’m going to my youngest daughters for Thanksgiving dinner. All I have to make is Deviled Eggs.

  4. Nice review! πŸ™‚

Well, we go to my boyfriend’s parents house for Thanksgiving, and she will not let me in the kitchen. She’s like relax, I’m fine! Meanwhile, she’s in there sweating up a storm and won’t take a break. lol πŸ™‚ Gotta love her!

  5. Typically do the traditional turkey, we smoke it first then finish it off on the grill. Mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, whatever pie suits our fancy. DH will be cooking all of it, I will be down watching satellites…shift work at its finest….

  6. Its just going to be me, mom, and grandfather for thanksgiving dinner. We will have a traditional dinner, turkey, stuffing, gravy, potatoes, sweet potatoes, acorn squash, corn, fruit salad, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. I always want ham but mom wont let me, she says its not Thanksgiving without a turkey.

  7. Great reviews, Anya!

I’m making mini cheesecakes (one batch of pumpkin and one batch of either peppermint or lemon) and apple pie for Thursday. My grandma does the turkey. It will definitely be a traditional dinner, like always. πŸ˜€

  8. Congrats on the terrific reviews! We’re going out, so no special cooking Thursday πŸ™‚ Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
